The Forest of Bowland, also known as the Bowland Fells, is an area of barren gritstone fells, deep valleys and peat moorland in north-east Lancashire. The Forest of Bowland has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1964., The Forest of Bowland is used for grouse shooting, walking and cycling, though it is relatively unfrequented by tourists.

Carry straight on for 2.5 miles. Over railway bridge to traffic lights B Q on right turn left into Warbreck Hill Road head to the sea we are No.1.From the North Pier 1 mile north along the Promenade to Gynn Square roundabout take the 2nd exit pass Gynn Gardens we are on your right. By Rail or Coach 5 minutes by taxi from the Railway Station or Coach Terminal.
