The Forest of Bowland, also known as the Bowland Fells, is an area of barren gritstone fells, deep valleys and peat moorland in north-east Lancashire. The Forest of Bowland has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1964., The Forest of Bowland is used for grouse shooting, walking and cycling, though it is relatively unfrequented by tourists.

As well as being just a few minutes walk from the some of the best nightclubs in Blackpool the thrills and spills of the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle are also just a short tram ride away.

From M6 take M55 to end follow signs for town centre and car parking. By following the Red Route to the end you will be in central car park. Exit by turning left out of this car park follow road to right past MacDonalds turn right at first set of traffic lights and take first left into Charnley Road. We are located half way up on left hand side.
